DESCRIPTION:Manual Handling Practical training course is suitable for all staff who may be called upon to undertake Moving & Handling in the course of their duties according to The Health and Safety Act 1974.  It will approximately take 3 - 4 hours and upon successful completion of the session you will be certificated. Learning outcomes Transfer from chair to chair/ commode Transfer from chair to bed Individual bed repositioning (Sliding sheets) Use of bathroom equipment Use of mechanical aids (Rotander, Moving & Handling Belt)
