Fire Legislation, Policies & Procedures

Fire Legislation

The Regulatory Reform Fire Safety Order (FSO) which came into effect in 2006 places a duty on the responsible persons to undertake and record a suitable risk assessment.

This fire risk assessment should identify the general fire precautions that need to be taken to ensure the safety of relevant people. Every organisation must have a fire safety policy and procedure that details how to keep everyone affected by it’s activities safe.
