MARu00a0 (Medication Administration Charts) are usually produced by the pharmacy on a monthly basis and delivered with the medication.
All drugs should be listed on the MAR sheet.
Verbal Instructions
A verbal instruction u2013 is just what it says is.
These are instructions given verbally by a professional such as a GP, Pharmacist, District Nurse, or Nurse Prescriber.
Verbal instructions should only accepted in exceptional circumstances in relation to changes in doses and frequency and must be fully documented.
