Module 09 Low Risk Foods

Lower risk foods tend to be high in sugar, salt, and acid and tend to have low water content.  These include

Fresh fruits and vegetables:
Bread                                 Honey                                              Syrups
Vinegars                           Candies                                          Pickled foods
Vinegars                            Most baked foods

These foods can still become contaminated through the handling and production and so should be cleaned thoroughly.
