General Terms & Conditions
Please read these terms and conditions carefully before booking any of our courses.
They apply both to businesses and individuals. By booking a course with Coral & Reed Training you agree to these terms and conditions. Where a course has been booked on your behalf by your recruiter / employer / organisation it is the responsibility of the organisation to ensure that the attendee is aware of the terms of engagement.
- To minimise interruption and increase effectiveness during our training sessions our shut door policy is as follows. Please note that late arrivals will not be rescheduled or refunded. It is the responsibility of the attendee to plan their journey well in advance prior to attending the training sessions and therefore our cut off times will operate as follows.
- Delegates will not be allowed in to the training session after 9.15am for training sessions that start at 09.00am.
- For sessions that begin at 10.00am delegates will not be allowed in the session after 10.15am
- For sessions that begin at 1.00pm, delegates will not be allowed in the session after 1.15pm.
Non – Attendance
- Delegates that do not intend to attend a booked training session will have to provide us with a 72 hour notice period. Where the notice period required is met, the delegate will be entitled to a full refund.
- Where delegates do not attend a booked training session, and the required notice is not provided, you or your organisation will have to rebook for the slot and pay again. Candidates are required to attend and fully complete the course, where a delegate chooses to leave the training session mid – way, they will not be entitled to any refunds whatsoever.
- Our certificates will be issued in an e-format only and they will be available to download after the completion of the assessment. Please refer to the last page of your training manual on how to obtain your certificate. Certificates are only available after the full completion of the course.
- We reserve the right to cancel any course and in such cases any fees already paid will be refunded in full, unless such cancellation is necessary due to a Force Majeure Event (see clause 13) or due to any act or omission by you.
- We reserve the right to change fees from time to time without prior notice though any changes implemented will not affect any orders that have already been placed.
Illnesses and Pregnancy
- Pregnant and ill delegates are advised to ensure that they receive the appropriate medical advice and guidance from their family doctor. You will not receive a certificate nor receive a refund if you do not complete your course in full.
- Our staff deserve to be respected and treated with honour and as such we will not tolerate any indecent, aggressive, violent or disruptive behaviour in the training centre. Disruptive, rude, aggressive and abusive delegates will be asked to leave the centre and will be not have their fees refunded.
A good understanding of English
1. All our courses will be delivered in the English language and as such all delegates attending our courses are advised to ensure that they possess a good command of English and can fully understand and comprehend the material delivered in the training session. Where a candidate does not possess good English skills and has booked and commenced a course, they will not be entitled to a refund.
Name changes
1. We do not allow any name changes unless these are due to bookings made on behalf of a delegate. These requests must be made in writing to the office at admin@coralandreed.co.uk.
Compensation where courses have been cancelled
- We reserve the right to cancel scheduled courses where running a session is not cost effective. Learners already booked to cancelled sessions by us will be offered the opportunity to another future session of their choice.
- We will not provide any kind of compensation packages for courses that do not proceed, other than a refund of the fees is available
Corporate customers and Inhouse training
These Terms and Conditions apply if you are corporate customer that have booked their staff in any of our course in the centre or exclusively for your staff in your organisation. By corporate we mean, any organisation that purchases services from us for it’s staff use.
- Corporate clients are responsible for their employees and for meeting all the obligations placed in our terms and conditions to enable the engagement of business with us.
- It is the responsibility of the organisation procuring services from us to ensure that all their employees attend scheduled courses on time in the right location.
- Invoices are raised upon the booking and confirmation of scheduled courses and payment must be made prior to courses being run.
- If some unforeseen circumstances, we cancel a course, we will offer the organisation the opportunity to reschedule the course at a future date free of charge. We do not offer any compensation for any courses that do not proceed.
- Where corporate clients place orders for courses to be held in house or in their premises, the price quoted will be the price invoiced regardless of the number of delegates that attend. Where the organisation chooses to place fewer delegates than the initially stated number no discounts will be offered.
- Coral & Reed Ltd deserve the right to invoice for an additional amount where anorganisation places more delegates than the initially agreed number.
- Where a corporate customer schedules, books and confirms a booking for the provisionof training services, they will be required to provide a 2 weeks cancellation notice for a full refund, otherwise the organisation will lose it’s fees. We may however consider a postponement request for a course under exceptional circumstances.
- Corporate clients shall not during the engagement of services or 1 year after the engagement of services directly or indirectly canvass, solicit, entice, employ any individual engaged with by us specifically our trainers for the purpose of providing services similar to those that we provide. This would expressly be in breach of our employment terms and conditions.
- Coral & Reed reserves the right to cancel any scheduled services in particular training sessions if we believe that our terms and conditions have been breached.
- We reserve to cancel the provision of any scheduled services to you if we have reasonable grounds to believe you may have acted in breach of our terms and conditions. This does not apply to individuals who contact you directly or responds to any vacancy advertised in the normal course of business.
- Credits purchased from or through our online learning portal are non-refundable and not transferable. Credits purchased on behalf of staff cannot be cancelled, refunded or transferred where a course has been commenced and or completed.
